THE AIMS AND PRINCIPLES OF THE CAB SERVICE

To ensure that individuals do not suffer from ignorance and responsibility, service available to them, or through an inability to express their needs effectively and to exercise a responsible influence on the development of social policies and services both locally and nationally.

WHAT AREAS DO WE COVER?

The bureau provides information and advice in the following areas:

Debt	Help with all aspects of debt problems including   Corporate Debt Scheme (Gloucester City Council tenants)
Benefits	Appeals and Representation.    Child Support Agency
Housing	Rent and tenancies to help both landlords and   tenants & Eviction Appeal Panel
Employment	Help with unfair/wrongful dismissal, underpayment   and Employment Tribunals
Legal	Help with all aspects of legal queries.   Magistrates court issues and Fines enforcement
Health	Enquiries about health care
Marital	Information about divorce, children and assets
Immigration	Information about immigration issues
Consumer	Contracts, returning goods and consumer rights
Other	Education, Tax etc.
Prisons	Advice for prisoners
